Aberystwyth is proud to be continuing our very popular housing scholarship for the upcoming academic year, providing international students with the option of on-campus housing either entirely free or discounted by £2,000 for the duration of their taught course.

Aberystwyth is proud to be continuing our very popular housing scholarship for the upcoming academic year, providing international students* with the option of on-campus housing either entirely free or discounted by £2,000 for the duration of their taught course.

However, we need to ensure that all Terms and Conditions are clear to our partners. Some of the key points to highlight are:

• Places in Cwrt Mawr, the free accommodation building, are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Students must have paid their deposit and accepted their offer to apply, so should be advised to complete this ASAP so they can apply for housing when the portal opens (deposits will be refunded if the student ultimately doesn’t achieve the required grades or we cannot allocate a CAS, but not if they simply change their mind about their studies).
• All on-campus rooms are single occupancy, meaning students will need to find alternative private accommodation in town if they plan to live in Aberystwyth with family members or dependants.
