UWE Bristol announce new courses for September 2023
All of these courses are live on their website and open to applications for September 2023: • BEng Mechatronics Eng • BEng Mechatronics Eng (with Foundation Year) • MEng Mechatronics Eng
This course is aimed at early career professionals and recent graduates interested in mid-level or senior-level role within the conservation sector, that need to gain experience in conservation leadership and project management.
The programme includes a six-month placement with a Conservation Project Leader, during which students select the tasks they would like to lead on. The placement will take place in the first six months of the course, where students will shadow the project manager of one of ten conservation projects led by BZS or UWE Bristol.
The delivery is split 50/50 between UWE Bristol and Bristol Zoological Society.
For non-law graduates looking to enter the legal profession, the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) provides the starting point for graduate legal study. Whether your students are looking to become barristers or solicitors, they will gain an essential grounding in the foundations of law subjects. The course is delivered online through recorded lectures and collaborative small group sessions, providing student with detailed knowledge.
Early application deadline reminder
This is a highly competitive course with a large volume of applications each year. To ensure a fair admissions process and enable us to offer places to the strongest applicants, we operate a ‘gathered field’ approach, which means we will review all applications after a set deadline rather than at the point they are submitted. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 25 January 2023. We will not consider applications received after that date.
MA Wildlife Filmmaking
The deadline for applications for this course is 14 February 2023. Interviews will typically be held from March to June, depending on the number of applications we receive.
English Language and Academic Culture (ELAC) course
Our next ELAC course starts on 9 January 2023 and is free for those students who already have the required IELTS score for their main course. This one-week online course gives students an introduction to studying at UWE Bristol and can help them improve their language and academic skills before they start their course.
