About University of Bath

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city of Bath is bursting with historic architecture, and exciting cultural events take place throughout the year, including festivals, exhibitions, sports, and concerts.

International students can either live on the University’s campus, or in accommodation within the city itself. Transport is affordable and easy, with cheap, quick bus routes between the city and campus. Students are also well connected to London, which is less than 90 minutes away by train.

Teaching future leaders and providing students with innovative knowledge and skills, Bath’s graduates make a positive impact on society. The University is ranked 6th for graduate prospects by the Complete University Guide 2022 and 7th by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022.

All undergraduate course areas provide a placement option. Over two-thirds of students take a work placement or study abroad as part of their course.

Major investment over the past decade has included accommodation, study spaces, sport, and art facilities.

Student support covers everything from money management, wellbeing, and mental health to academic writing, IT skills, and presentations.

We are known for excellence in teaching and research, our welcoming community, and for providing students with outstanding preparation for the workplace. Our campus on the edge of the city provides sporting, social and cultural opportunities. We were one of the first universities to win a national police-approved security award, we have one of the safest campuses in the UK.
