DCU has been awarded 1st in Ireland for Student Experience. 20% of the 18,000 students are international students who receive a warm Irish welcome.

DCU has a strong students’ union with over 100 different clubs and societies. There is an Inter-Faith Centre for students to build community with others who share their beliefs. DCU has a sports and recreation centre with state of the art equipment, a pool, and spa. There a playing fields and tennis courts, and all of our three campuses are surrounded by public parks.

The campus is located in a safe neighbourhood in North Dublin, just minutes from City Centre by bus. There are shared bikes that will allow students to explore the city, or visit coastal villages nearby.

DCU has the largest computer science degree in Ireland and is ranked in the top 300 in the world for computing. Ireland’s leading academics in AI, sustainability, and energy call DCU home.  

DCU’s microbial processing facility has been nominated twice for education lab of the year, and the MSc in Bioprocessing has been awarded Ireland’s postgraduate course of the year multiple times.
