What their Students Say

The decision to opt for UCLan was primarily based on few factors such as the attraction of the city, fees, the teaching faculty and placement opportunity.

What’s more, those who initially find it difficult to understand teaching can go for free English classes for non-native speaking students and WISER for assignment help. Preston, although a small city, is equipped with all sorts of facilities like shopping centres, a railway station, grocery stores and restaurants, all within walkable proximity.

Preston is a really nice place and so friendly. When you are walking down the road people smile at you for no reason! It really helps you to settle. The campus is really close to shops and other necessities within the city centre, which is something I liked because it’s a lot less daunting. My advice to new students coming to UCLan would be to experiment with new things and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and join groups and societies.
