The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) shows that the University of Huddersfield’s teaching staff are the best qualified in England across a range of measures. 94 percent of lecturers hold specific teaching qualifications, 96 percent of lecturers have higher education academic qualifications, the highest percentage in the country, and 77 percent of those hold doctorates (HESA, 2022). “I really love the location of Huddersfield as it’s in the middle of the UK, with good local transportation services. It is quick, easy and cheap to travel around the UK. Huddersfield is also relatively cheap to live in.
