The University of Limerick (UL) is a leading institution known for outstanding research and is based in the heart of Ireland. Named the Irish University of the Year 2019 by the Sunday Times Good University Guide, UL has also been ranked as one of the top 100 Young Universities in the World by the Times Higher Education. It has developed into one of the top universities in Ireland since being founded in 1972. It is also ranked 35th in the world for Research Impact (THE) and provides an outstanding student experience with the Best Student Campus (Education Ireland Awards 2019). Four faculties make up the University of Limerick, namely the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Kemmy Business School, Education and Health Science and Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The university provides an exceptional student life on a large parkland campus. The amazing study facilities cater for a diverse student population, which includes 2,500 international students among its 15,000 student cohort. It offers an inclusive and welcoming environment with top of the range facilities for students to develop their skills. UL also provides unrivalled graduate employment rates, with the highest rate in all of Ireland.
