The University of Limerick (UL) is a leading institution known for outstanding research and is based in the heart of Ireland. Named the Irish University of the Year 2019 by the Sunday Times Good University Guide, UL has also been ranked as one of the top 100 Young Universities in the World by the Times Higher Education. It has developed into one of the top universities in Ireland since being founded in 1972. Four faculties make up the University of Limerick, namely the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Kemmy Business School, Education and Health Science and Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
